One of the flagships of Turkmenistan's economy is the oil and gas industry, which is developing its export potential. 

The team of [Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR)] makes its worthy contribution to this matter The State concern "Turkmennebit". 

By refining oil at modern technological installations, the TCOR produces automotive and diesel fuel, lubricants, polypropylene, liquefied gas and other high-quality petrochemical products that meet international standards.

According to the regional newspaper Balkan, in 2023 4,504,557 tons of "black gold" were processed here and 1,395,602 tons of gasoline, 428,867 tons of fuel kerosene, 1,390,095 tons of diesel fuel, 63,563 tons of polypropylene, 102,923 tons of liquefied gas and 57,000 tons of lubricating oils were produced.

The plant's infrastructure is equipped with electric generating gas turbine units, seawater desalination plants, steam generators, secondary water coolers, pumping stations, tank farms, power plants and other auxiliary facilities.

High-quality oil and petrochemical products produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries are exported to various destinations, namely to Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
