In the first month of this year, natural gas production was 5% higher than planned, and its exports exceeded the original target by 110.7%.
In January this year, the country produced 13.1% more liquefied gas than in the same period last year, and the volume of oil and gas exploration was higher by 20%.
Such figures were announced during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on Thursday by Deputy Prime Minister Shakhim Abdrakhmanov.
